Sweet Baby James | Indianapolis Newborn Lifestyle Photographer
It seemed quite fateful that the Burke family and I found each other when Leslie posted that she was pregnant with her third baby boy and was looking for a newborn photographer. In the time since I first met her family and found out that we have a few mutual friends, I’ve gushed and gushed about how there couldn’t have been a nicer, more inviting, and more genuine family to photograph for this newborn lifestyle session over the holiday season. And it was such a bonus that they live in the Midtown area of Indianapolis in a beautiful old home full of character AND that it was mere blocks from my own home. i absolutely love to photograph local families who place value and importance on investing in our community! Congratulations to the Burke family on the addition of sweet little baby James!
The Stephenson Family
Like my own family, the Stephensons are Indianapolis midtowners to the core, working and playing usually within our own neighborhood or only a few miles from it. So I was excited to try out a new location for their session, while still keeping close to our little neck of the woods. This is the second year in a row they’ve scheduled a November session. I learned from last year to bring a few extra blankets this time to wrap up in while each of their three kids was waiting for their turn! A smooth and cozy session with a sweet and warm-hearted family!
The Gandy Family
Dylan and Melody’s family session was originally scheduled for a week night this fall. The weather that day was cloudy and cool at best, but in the hour leading up it turned out to be rainy and stormy! A last-minute reschedule, even with their very busy fall schedules (Dylan’s a high school football coach and it was right in the middle of the season), turned out well for all of us!
It’s safe to say that anyone who has had an encounter with this wonderful family comes out the other side for the better. Their love and compassion for their neighbors around them (and neighbors far across the globe) is inspirational. I believe it shows in their gallery of images through the connections they had with each other and their three sweet children, and I’m so thankful I was able to photograph this! And not to mention they give some of the best bear hugs!
