Teddy came into this world as the youngest of three brothers. It’s easy to tell that the King family of Carmel will have some fun adventures and great laughs in the future! It never fails that I find one or a dozen things in common with the families I photograph. It wasn’t until halfway through Teddy’s Fresh 48 session (I’m hoping to blog that session soon!) that we realized that Devin went to grade school at the school I currently teach in. Of course that led to swapping names and sharing stories and connections, and I loved every minute of it. This sweet, open, and kind-hearted family was absolutely perfect to work with, and their gallery of images is probably one of my favorite newborn sessions I’ve shot.
I was connected to the King family through a friend of Devin’s who I photographed over a year ago. Word of mouth is the best way to connect with new families.
