I like to push pretty hard for summer sunrise sessions in Indianapolis. But when I suggest them and then the morning is sort of overcast and gray, I get nervous! When I realized that the overcast skies in the field made the images look this rich and smooth, my nerves were gone. I loved everything about this session. Everyone was in a great mood (I mean, it’s summer, what’s there to not be happy about?), and it was obvious they all genuinely loved each other and were perfectly comfortable showing that emotion. That makes for a pretty great morning. 
Baby Tate At Six Weeks | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer
Maybe more than any other newborn lifestyle session, this session seems to tell such a story. I love that as you look through the images in this blog post, you’ll see how we spent our morning around baby Tate’s home. Tate’s mom mentioned how much he loves baths. We both had the same idea- she wondered if maybe we could incorporate it into the session just as I was about to email her and ask if I could please photograph she and her husband bathing him! We then just moved throughout the house, both of them loving every tiny snuggle with their little man. It was a very humid and cloudy day (something these West Coast transplants are still getting used to!), and we found ourselves ending outside on the front porch of their Indiana home. I loved my morning spent with this family!
