Botsford Family | Indianapolis Family Photographer

What will be your favorite memories from when your family was young, from when you were raising your babies, from when you lived in your first home? The Botsfords have been enjoying their Saturday morning brunches (made by Paul!) and they love how much baby Tate loves bath time. Spending a few hours with Keyan and Paul and little Tate again was a cozy, warm, and inviting start to 2018!

What’s a Limited Edition Lifestyle Session? | Indianapolis Family Photographer

The documentary aspect of an in-home lifestyle session is what really gets me going. I love it. It takes me back to my vision that one day I would become a photojournalist. But you know what? Sometimes I have clients that want that documentary lifestyle look, but they’re not sure about hosting a photographer in their home. There can be lots of reasons. Their home is under renovation, they don’t have the time or energy for a full 1-2 hour session, they need to budget for a smaller investment. I understand. So this winter I tried something new and offered a few Limited Edition Lifestyle Sessions. Just available during the winter months, these sessions are photographed in twenty minutes, in my home with a studio-like setting, and are available at a smaller price point. And we still get the intimate, snuggly, playful photos! Who did I have in mind when I decided to offer these? Just about anyone. They’re perfect for a mommy and me type of session (give yourself the gift!), a mini newborn lifestyle session, maternity, or even a small family session. I’ve loved the connection I’ve been able to make with these families. I get to invite you into my own home, have conversation, introduce you to my own family, and I’ll even have Hubbard and Cravens here for you when you arrive (the coffee shop is around the corner from my house and I love a good excuse to walk there!).

Find a few of my favorite images from January and February’s Limited Edition Lifestyle Session below. And the good news is, winter’s not quite over yet! I still have one date left that I’ll be hosting these sessions in my home. Come see me on March 24th and I’d be thrilled to photograph your short lifestyle session. Email me at tarastrohlphotography@yahoo.com OR better yet, fill out the form on my Contact page to book your spot. These sessions are offered at $275 and include your choice of five digital images. This will be the last date of the year before I turn my focus on outdoor and more in-home sessions this year, so please don’t miss the chance if this has been on your mind!

Bogert Family | Indianapolis Family Photographer

I was introduced to the Bogert family through an old summer camp friend. Wanting a session to document their love and feelings and this point in their lives before being separated for some time by a military deployment, I was flattered to be told that I was just the photographer that they needed. Keeping in mind that Holyn describe the four of them as loving, spirited, and intelligent, and that her husband was a military guy to the bone but with the soul of a musician, I photographed them in what I hoped would be an honest way.
